Accuracy is important to PayCorpus, particularly because our content covers salary, government rules, taxation, retirement and financial calculations.
We aim to correct material errors transparently and as quickly as reasonably possible after they are identified and verified.
What We Correct
A correction may be required when published content contains an error involving matters such as:
- an official rate, rule or threshold;
- a government order or notification;
- a Pay Matrix value;
- a tax slab or calculation;
- an NPS or pension contribution;
- a calculator formula;
- a numerical example;
- an incorrect or outdated source; or
- other material factual information.
Minor typographical, grammatical or formatting errors that do not change the meaning of the content may be corrected without a formal correction notice.
How Corrections Are Handled
When a potential material error is reported, we aim to:
- review the affected page or calculator;
- check the relevant source and calculation;
- determine whether a correction is necessary;
- correct the information or calculation where appropriate; and
- update the page’s review information when the change is substantive.
Where an error materially affected the meaning or result of a page, we may include a correction or update note explaining what changed.
Updates Are Different From Corrections
Not every change is a correction.
Government policies, DA rates, tax provisions and other financial rules change over time. Updating a page because a new rule has taken effect does not necessarily mean the previous information was incorrect when published.
Where useful, PayCorpus distinguishes between an update resulting from new information and a correction of an error.
Report an Error
If you believe you have found an error on PayCorpus, please contact us and include:
- the URL of the affected page;
- the information you believe is incorrect;
- the correct information, if known; and
- an official or authoritative source supporting the correction, where available.
Constructive correction reports help us improve the reliability of PayCorpus for everyone who uses it.
